All those timeshare sales companies have spotty record of success. It is simply difficult to resell a timeshare. Don’t expect to get a sale price higher that 50% of what new timeshares in the same (or similar) development are selling for now. That said, here are some leads and tips:

The problem is that timeshare does not have any resale value, I tried on ebay for weeks with a starting price of just £1 and it still would not sell. If your fed up with having to pay the fees my best advice is simply try to get out and cut your losses and get out of your contract which in itself is very hard to do without costly help. I have found one website which tells you how to get out of timeshare legally with simple step by step instructions. Have a look at http://www.timeshare-rescue.co.uk.
    Hope this helps

Selling a timeshare with a company or by yourself is difficult at best because of the supply greatly outweighing the demand. This is why most all companies that try to sell timeshares — even the reputable ones — have to charge an upfront fee. They have trouble getting rid of them as well even though some have the leverage of having multiple units.

If you can wait and potentially pay another maintenance fee payment, a decent place to go to try to sell your timeshare are websites where other timeshare owners frequent. Timeshare owners are much more likely to buy a timeshare since they have had the experience and may have visited your timeshare resort before.

I like redweek.com, sellmytimesharenow.com and tstoday.com. You will pay for listing the timeshare and potentially membership cost. But these are all relatively low and you gain access to many resources.

Now, if you are in a hurry to get rid of your timeshare, I’d recommend a timeshare transfer company aka a timeshare relief company. For a fee, they will transfer the timeshare out of your name so that you are almost immediately no longer responsible for the fees like maintenance fees and special assessments. The speed and guarantee of service is what you are paying for. Be warned however, go with a company that is transparent in their agreements and their people. If you don’t know who you are talking to or they do not have many bios on their websites, do not use them…they are hiding because they know that they are doing the wrong thing.
