Can Any Part of a Timeshare Membership Be Used When Filing Income Taxes?

I recently bought a timeshare membership in the Bahamas, I was told that the interest can be written off as a second home expense. I bought 2 weeks, is this true?

No. A second home is considered more than 2 weeks. You actually have to own the property outright, not just a piece of it.

    Ask Uncle Sam.
