How Do I Sell My Timeshare? and What Is the Process After It Sells as Far as Signing It Over to the Buyer?

How do I sell my Timeshare? And what is the process after it sells as far as signing it over to the buyer?

I bought and paid off a timeshare and dont need it anymore. So Please tell me some options as far as selling it-Im sure Ebay would be one way- but are there any others?

Also once it sells, I am clueless how to proceed with the paper work and signing the deed over and being DONE with this timeshare-

Please help with as much info as you can!!! :)

The first rule when you are selling is YOU HAVE TO DEPRECIATE IT FROM YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. OK so a little dramatic but it is VERY important to discount at least 30% (usually 50% is recommended).

I made a successful sale of my Mystic Dunes timeshare (Orlando) using sellmytimesharenow.com

Here is the research I did before choosing a company

    1. I checked the BBB report on the company
    2. I made them provide traffic and offer reports
    3. I acted like a buyer on search engines and only inquired with easy to find, top ranked companies
    4. I searched online for complaints about the company.

All this took me a couple hours (the final decision took days!)
I also posted on free sites at the same time and recommend you do the same as well.

Last but not least, when it comes to transfering the deed I used transfermytimeshare and the buyer paid all the closing costs. They made it very easy and speedy!

I wish you the best in your venture!

Selling a timeshare can be really tough. You will be lucky to sell it for half of what you bought it for. The Timeshare User’s Group (tug2.net) has some information on how to sell a timeshare. I wish you the best. See these websites:
