How to Get Rid of a Time Share…?
My husband and I have had a timeshare for almost 4 years and we have never used it. I listed it with Pinnacle Vacations for a year and it did not sale. How can I go about telling someone that they can just take over the payments, is there a website somewhere for that? This thing is just a burden that we need to rid ourselves of fast!!! Please help!!
It is BlueGreen lodge resort. You can go anywhere, they give you a book that has all different areas to where you can go, & it is not a specific week, go whenever it just may cost you more points. I have 11,000 points…you can also trade them for a cruise and pay very little to go.
try to sell it on http://www.ebay.com they have a whole section of Real Estate and Timeshares
What city is it located? What size of unit? What is the name of the Resort? Is it a flex week or a fixed week? What are the maintenance fees per year? Is it part of II or RCI?
Just a start
There are some online buy/sell/trade sites I would go for something local to where the timeshare is also maybe try an ad in your local paper. If you sold it on ebay for what it would cost you to payout your loan that might work as well.
where is it at anyways just curious?
I have a friend that ran into the same issue. They called up the timeshare company and gifted the timeshare back to the company.
You might be able to donate it to a charity auction and write off the value on your taxes.
You could also try ebay. Where is your timeshare?
