How to Sell Timeshares Book
Any tips to reject Hilton Vacation Club sign up?
Join the Trial Timeshare plan last year which have given me 1 year to use up the points. When I’m planning to use the points to book a vacation, the reps said that I will need to book me in for another 2 hours presentation (again!).
I’m sure they will try to sell me to join the life timeshare plan.
Does anyone have tips how to get out of it?
Interesting, they are building beautiful resorts left and right and having trouble selling. I never knew they had a trial membership for a year with an option to go lifetime. Sitting through one when you don’t want it can be gruelling. My advice would be to do it early in the day at 9a.m and set your watch or cel phone alarm for 11. When it goes off say thank you and tell them you have honored your agreement. Buy resale if you can find one which is paid off and definitely go Hilton. You can easily get a nice timeshare for a fraction of the cost. Do not buy in Hawaii. The maintenance fees are higher than domestic locations. You need to take all that into consideration going forward should you choose to buy.
