Make a donation / giving a timeshare?
I have a timeshare in Hilton Head, South Carolina and one part-time Atlantic City, NJ. I can not afford to raise the money for maintenance each year, in addition to my mortgage, car payments, Food / clothing / etc 2 children, so I want to donate these units so I am free of maintenance tax and get tax deduction for donations. Does anyone know what the charities accepting donations tax deductible, timeshare? I really need to know! Help! Does anyone know of a charitg accept immediately and take care of themselves? Me I contacted a charity and they told me they would try to sell the units, but had to be mine (keeping rates too!) Until they can sell it, usually by 6 months. "I want to donate now, as soon as possible to get the tax deduction, no maintenance fees! Please let me know if you have information about this, as soon as possible! Thank you!
